We are honoured to organise the EUROMED SOLAR WORKSHOP on EU-MENA Cooperation on Solar Power, on the occasion of an extraordinary assembly of the Euro-Mediterranean Parlia-mentary Assembly (EMPA). The EMPA, about 240 Parliamentarians from across Europe, Middle East and North Africa, is the parliamentary institution of the "Barcelona Process: Union for the Mediterranean (UfM)".

The White Paper and an Action Plan (PDF, 60 kb) have also been handed over to the President of the European Parliament Professor Hans-Gert Poettering (Photo).
